An Emmy Noether Group in Methods of AI proposal titled “Earth Embeddings: Learning Concept Maps in Neural Nets” has been funded by DFG. Hence, from September 2026 onwards, this group will be an Emmy Noether Group with Marc Rußwurm appointed as Junior Professor. See the University of Bonn press release for more details.
